The American Festival Pops Orchestra welcomes alumni back with “Saturday Nite Fever” on Oct. 5, 2013 at the Center for the Arts.

On April 11, 2013 George Mason University's Center for the Arts (CFA) publicly revealed its 2013–2014 “Great Performances at Mason” season. The CFA is well known for offering a wide variety of performances from orchestral and choral shows to dance troupes and theatrical tours. This upcoming season will feature a whole slew of new performances, and everyone can find something offered that will give them, as well as friends and family, a pleasurable evening of entertainment.

Polish philharmonic to perform at Mason

The Center for the Arts will receive a visit from Opole, Philharmonic of Poland on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m..

Music will include works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin. The orchestra is one of Poland’s leading philharmonics and has performed for the Vatican, as well as received awards such as the State Award for Arts Excellence by the Polish ministry of culture.
