[PREVIEW] Mason travels to Towson to face the surprising second-ranked Tigers
|When the official 2012-2013 game schedule was announced before the start of the season, the Towson matchup seemed like an easy win and a game that the George Mason University men’s basketball team would surely take lightly. After all, the Tigers have been abysmal over the past few seasons, finishing in the cellar of the Colonial Athletic Association. At this point in the season, however, the Tigers are 10-10, 5-2 in conference competition and ranked in the CAA. When Mason travels to face the Tigers Wednesday night at 7 p.m. they need to take them seriously.

Mason-UMBC men's basketball preview
|The University of Maryland-Baltimore Retrievers have had a tough go in their first seven games of the season, starting at 2-5. The Retrievers take on the Patriots at the Patriot Center tonight at 7 p.m. However, here are some of the players to pay attention to from the Retrievers.

Mason-URI men's basketball preview
|The University of Rhode Island has had a tough start to the season. Under new head coach Dan Hurley, the Rams have managed to survive (barely) a stretch of games against major conference competition, including No. 3 Ohio State. However, they were able to get into the win column Sunday with a double overtime thriller against Auburn (can anything go right for the Tigers right now?).
With a win under their belt, the Rams no longer have the winless monkey on their proverbial backs. However, they would like to continue their winning streak against a quality opponent in Mason.
Mason-Bucknell men's basketball preview
|Bucknell at a glance
Coming off of a thrilling win over the University of Virginia Cavaliers last Friday night, things do not get much easier when the Patriots travel to Bucknell on Tuesday for a matchup with one of the mid-majors finest.

To get a better idea of how the Lady Patriots will finish the season, I took the time to look through last season’s depth chart and statistics to get a better gauge.
