Definitely, Maybe, Why Not?

Definitely Maybe (Universal Pictures: PG-13) travels back 16 years via a young girl's direction, to the time when Kurt Cobain was still wailing on his guitar and politics in America were fierce and on the brink of change.
Recent divorcee, Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) narrates the flashbacks in response to demands from his daughter Maya (Abigail Breslin).
How did you meet and fall in love with Mom?
Over the years, Hayes had met and fell in love with three women: the Blonde, Emily (Elizabeth Banks), the Brunette, Summer (Rachel Weisz), and the Red Head, April (Isla Fisher). The three women are woven throughout a six to eight-year period, leaving Maya and the audience to guess which one is her mother.

Throughout the film Maya asks questions, or demands further explanations which have good comedic timing and are flawlessly pulled off by the young actress.
The story was well-written and light-hearted, with a mostly decent soundtrack. At times it seemed a little unbelievable that young Maya would freely use some of the words as easily as she does.
All of the cast members brought their best to the stage. The chemistry between Reynolds and the girls was believable and not overbearing.
The movie was slightly corny at times, though as Hayes states during the '92 Clinton campaign flashback, “Sometimes life needs to be a little corny.”
