Enter The Studio #1

I guess until I find a better blogging host, I'll be posting here for fun :)

I call this first blog, "Enter The Studio #1" because it's something I'm involved with.

Three days ago, I finally figured out the encoding issues from the MAC to the Programming Computer. Seeing as how this is my first semester here, I'm having trouble fitting this work into my schedule, especially as how it's left me to working overtime (Sorry Mom, not getting home until 12am again).

Applying graphics and icons are tough, because my budget doesn't allow for our MAC (the computer I do editing on) to have an increased harddrive or even RAM. Thank goodness for the external harddrive, I can save my work on there and have a simpler way to transfer files to the Programming Computer... Especially when the computer tends to fail or overheat.

The one drawback I don't like? Have you ever saved a Final Cut Pro file AND rendered onto an external hard drive? I'll see you in 19 hours and we'll see if it worked out right.

Changing gears: Give a round of applause for connect2mason.com, this is quite the website, much better than gmu.edu, but NOT better than mail.gmu.edu
