Green Machine 'Rage Against the Machine' video goes viral

George Mason University's pep band Green Machine had an exciting weekend. One of their YouTube rehearsal videos went "viral."

The video, uploaded on Feb. 23, shows the band jamming to a mash-up of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" and "Bull's on Parade."

Thomas C. Block, a Mason graduate and the chairman of the Green Machine Athletic Bands Boosters, attributes the start of the spread to a post by Washington Post Sports blogger Dan Steinberg. The video's views spiked after it was posted on the Tosh.0 blog.

At the time of posting, the video had 416,495 views on YouTube.

The Green Machine's next public appearance is this Wednesday at the Women's Basketball game vs. Northeastern.
