Inaugural team handball tournament a success

This past weekend, George Mason University’s Recreation Department held their first ever Handball Tournament. Handball is a sport much like soccer, but is played with hands instead of feet. The tournament was held in the Field House and included 10 teams made up of 114 participants. The tournament began with pool play, which included three pools of teams, with the top two from each moving on to a single elimination round. The final match was between Kappa Sigma (Red) and Theta Chi with Kappa Sigma (Red) finishing on top in a very close matchup.
