Mason Players will be hosting their first ever “Evening of One Acts” with two one-act plays: “Women and Wallace” by Jonathan Marc Sherman, student directed by senior Casey Bauer; and “Woyzeck” by Georg Büchner, student directed by junior Rebecca Wahls.

Fourth Estate interviewed Rebecca Wahls to find out more about the plays in the evening of one acts and about working as a student director within Mason's School of Theater. The following interview covers the story of “Woyzeck,” the recent integration of projections into the design and production of this particular show and the changing emphasis on the 'female director.'

“An Evening of One Acts” will be playing for one weekend only from Thursday, Nov. 21 until Sunday, Nov. 24. Free student tickets are available at the Center for the Arts box office with a Mason student ID on a first come, first serve basis. Otherwise, tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $15 for adults.
