Nyla Milleson was named the next women's basketball head coach April 16, following the resignation of Coach Jeri Porter on March 22.

In her 13 seasons as a collegiate coach, Milleson has accumulated a 290-123 record, four Hartland Conference Coach of the Year awards and eight postseason tournament appearances.

Milleson coached at Missouri State University for the past six seasons, leading the Lady Bears to three Women's National Invitatational Tournament appearances. In her previous stint at Drury University, she made five-straight Division-II NCAA Tournament appearances, including a national championship runner-up.

Milleson was fired from Missouri State on March 18 for a drop in attendence, losing record and a seven-year NCAA Tournament drought.
