Think back to a time in your life when you were emotionally distressed. Maybe your romantic partner broke up with you, or maybe you were the subject of nasty rumors or bullying; maybe you were having trouble coming up with money to pay your tuition only a month before the deadline. In response to the shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington DC that left 12 dead and many more injured, George Mason University President Ángel Cabrera sent out an email to students offering access to Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
