At 5:00 p.m., the No. 8 George Mason Patriots (27-6) will attempt to defeat the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes (33-2), for the second upset in the East Region.

Mason Madness at the JC

Though it was Spring Break, many George Mason Patriot fans and students gathered at the Johnson Center on Friday to watch the Patriots take on Villanova.

Coach Jim Larranaga described the game best with one word during an interview with NBC 4, “Survive”.

For the students and fans that watched the game in the Johnson Center, the feeling was amazing as the last few minutes ticked down on the clock. Mason took down Villanova with the final score being 61-57.
