Mason to offer new Shuttle Services for Thanksgiving break

George Mason University’s Shuttle Services will be offering new services for students wishing to travel over the Thanksgiving break. 

Buses will be available from the Fairfax campus to various cities. The buses will take students to one of eleven destinations, including New York, Philadelphia and Richmond. The buses will leave from Research Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 20 and return to campus Sunday, Nov. 25. Students can view the full schedule of buses and reserve tickets here

The long-awaited 2012 Election Day will finally arrive tomorrow, Nov. 6. Before you cast your vote, here's what you need to know:

When to vote
The polls will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is advised that voters visit the polling locations during the day to avoid the morning and evening rushes.

Blind Mason alum to compete on 'Glee Project'

George Mason University alum Mario Bonds will begin competing in Oxygen channel’s “The Glee Project” on June 5 in hopes of appearing on FOX’s “Glee.”

“It has always been Mario’s plan A to inspire and to perform,” said Mario’s representative Vinson Young, speaking on behalf of Bonds. “After auditioning and auditioning and getting told no, ’The Glee Project’ was another way for him to finally get into the world where he wanted to be.”
