Woman assaulted on campus while carrying cash receipts from Chick-fil-A

A female Chick-fil-A employee was punched in the face and robbed of her cellphone Tuesday on the Fairfax campus near Harris Theatre. Mason police say the suspect has not been apprehended.

Major George Ginovsky of the Mason Police Department said the assault occurred around 10:10 a.m. Tuesday morning, April 17, when the employee was approached while walking near Harris Theatre carrying a bag of cash receipts to deposit at the Capital One bank in the Johnson Center.
