Food competition to be held at Mason Inn

Dozens of chefs from around the region will be frying, baking and sautéing against each other this Friday at the Mason Inn.

The Mason Inn will play host to the 5th annual ARAMARK's Culinary Excellence competition (ACE) for the region. ARAMARK, a company that specializes in food distribution for hospitals, schools and businesses, will have their regional chefs come together and battle each other for the chance to move on to the national competition in Florida.

The chefs will each be given mystery baskets with unknown ingredients and will have three hours to create an entree and dessert out of them. They will be judged by a panel of guest judges, with some being members of the Mason community.
