Two events you may have missed [VIDEO]

With all the events going on around campus, it can be hard to stay on top of them.  Don’t worry though, C2M has you covered.  Here’s a few from last week that you may have missed.

Last week was Turn off the Violence Week, the biggest week of initiatives and events held by Mason Sexual Assault Services throughout the whole year.  Events such as the Clothesline Project, which seeks to give survivors and friends/family of survivors of sexual and domestic violence an opportunity to express themselves that they might not otherwise have, and the White Ribbon Campaign, in which men wear white ribbons to signify that they oppose violence towards women, helped get the message out.

The University Career Services bi-annual Job Fair was also held last week, giving students an opportunity present themselves to local business and organizations.  Each of the two days, 96 employers, mainly in the business and IT fields, set up kiosks in Dewberry Hall while job seeking students poured in.

Check out the above video recap from C2M's Raul Rosado.
