The George Mason men's basketball team extended their season Tuesday night with a game-winning tip-in from sophomore forward Erik Copes with 0.6 seconds remaining.

Copes finished with 14 points and three rebounds--one of which led to the last-second putback for the Patriots. The shot was his second game-winning shot on the season.

Junior guard Sherrod Wright led Mason with 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line.

Mason will host either the University of Texas Longhorns or the University of Houston Cougars on Monday. The time for the game is yet to be determined. Texas and Houston play tonight at 9 p.m.
