Mark Morris Dance Group returns to brighten Mason stage

On Feb. 22 and 23, The Mark Morris Dance Group entertained audiences with their performance at Mason’s Concert Hall.

The Mark Morris Dance Group is a New York-based dance company that has an impressive history of international involvement.

Under the artistic direction of Mark Morris, dancers gave a performance that was colorful, creative and fun.

On Tuesday, Feb.12, George Mason University’s chapter of the non-profit Invisible Children hosted a free benefit show. The event showcased music by three up and coming performers including student artist, Miranda Lapides, the Great American Canyon Band and California-based band, Branches.

Wale performs at the Patriot Center

Wale, Washington D.C.’s hip-hop golden boy, visited the Patriot Center Thursday, September 20. Even after signing under Miami-based Maybach music group and producer Rick Ross, Wale continues to stick close to his hometown by performing regularly around the D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. Wale’s performance on Thursday was the only stop in the DMV area.
